Eight EDC Videos Featured in NSF STEM For All Video Showcase

STEMForAll

From May 15 to 19, videos that spotlight eight innovative EDC STEM education R&D projects were featured in the National Science Foundation's (NSF) 2017 STEM for All Video Showcase. For almost 60 years, EDC's work to improve STEM education has focused on the theme of this year's Video Showcase: "Research & Design for Impact." The eight EDC videos provide powerful examples of the STEM Ed work we are leading and co-leading to promote all students' math proficiency, build students' computational thinking and data literacy skills, support young children's science learning, and sustain strong partnerships between resesearchers and educators to transform STEM learning and teaching. Two NSF-funded networks, Community for Advancing Discovery Research in Education (CADRE) and STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR), supported TERC in conceptualizing and promoting the 2017 Showcase.

Right now, you can still visit the free virtual video hall to view the videos and explore the rich discussions that took place between the public, fellow researchers and educators, and our EDC video producers, project staff, and facilitators. The eight videos include:
